We are a small family beekeeping operation located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains
of Northwest Georgia. We are located in the Armuchee community, approximately 10 miles north of Rome,
on the family farm (Deo Johnston and later Jake Johnston farm) that has been owned since
the late 1800's.
We started with just one hive in 2000, just wanted to pollinate our garden and it has grown to about 115 hives at
the present time. Our goal is to produce all natural pure Honey for our customers. Nothing added and nothing taken
We make local wildflower honey in the spring and early summer. Then in late summer and early autumn the bees are loaded
up and moved to the North Georgia Mountains for the prized Sourwood Honey that the south is famous for. We are located
in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the Armuchee community about ten miles north of Rome.
We still keep bees on the family farm (Deo Johnston and later Jake Johnston farm) that has been owned since
the late 1800's
